Creating pathways to a sustainable society
The Ecoesione project studied the social impacts of decarbonisation policies and the barriers that inequality and loss of social cohesion might pose to the ecological transition and developed a macro-simulation model to study the effectiveness of a set of environmental and social policies in promoting a sustainable society.
During the event, two tools will be presented with which Ecoesione wants to reach out to civil society actors and institutions so that research results can foster the awareness necessary to interpret the transformations underway and support deliberation processes:
- The online toolkit that allows users to build hypothetical environmental and social holitics with their own hands in order to hold potential impacts and their desirability.
- The board game that through a playful approach also aimed at children and young people promotes the adoption of a systemic point of view on the challenges of ecological transition.
